Spy Hitboxes are Large
We tested out some of the Spy/Sniper stuff yesterday and here is what we found:
- First level sentries/dispensers can be taken out in two Sniper bow shots. They will have 1/6 health left after one.
- Second level sentries/dispensers can be taken out in two Sniper bow shots. They will have 1/3 health left after one.
- Third level sentries/dispensers can be taken out in two Sniper bow shots. They will have 1/3 health left after one.*
- Jarate can be used to put out fire on your teammates and yourself.
- Jarate will reveal a cloaked Spy even if he has the Dead Ringer equipped.
- Jarate can be blown back at the offending Sniper with a Pyro’s air blast. The timing is easier than repelling a canister and, if successful, will result in the Sniper and/or his teammates receiving minicrits from your team.

Valve should probably fine tune this a bit, the stabbity range seems a bit silly (face-stab anyone?). That said, I do like all the new animations, weapons, and tweaks done for the Spy; experienced players could previously spot him a mile away (well, if they saw him) and this update upped the ante a bit.
* Needs more testing with critical arrow damage.
