PC Build ’09 Go!

Been meaning to do this for a while (two months), but I have finally put up the photos from the recent (two month ago) build of my new (two month old) PC. This is not the first as I typically build one every two to three years. In that time though, I tend not to keep up with all the new technologies and have to relearn specs, compatability, assembly – whenever the rig doesn’t catch fire on first startup, I am utterly amazed.

    How much was this whole computer? and the specs? is this computer still being used as of today?

    A little under $1800 and yes, it’s still in use today. Also, I’d recommend avoiding that particular Seagate Barracuda series; Newegg gives it 4 out of 5 eggs but the reviews say quality is otherwise. I myself have a 2/3 failure rate and will be making the transition over to Western Digital.
